PALPAK NA SERBISYO SA INTERNET, DAPAT MAY REFUND -KONGRESO

Isinusulong ngayon sa Kamara ang panukalang magmamandato sa telecommunication companies na magbigay ng refund sa mga kliyenteng nakakaranas ng palpak na internet connection.

Sa ilalim ng House Bill 8480 na inihain nina representatives Paolo Duterte ng Davao city, Eric Yap ng Benguet, Jocelyn Tulfo at Edvic Yap ng ACT-CIS party-list at Ralph Tulfo ng Quezon City, inoobliga ang mga telecom na ibalik ang bayad sa mga customer sa oras na makaranas sila ng tuloy-tuloy na pagkawala ng serbisyo sa loob ng 24 oras o higit pa.

Nakasaad din sa nasabing panukala na karapatan ng subscriber na bayaran ang serbisyong natatanggap nila sa mga telecom, lalong-lalo na sa mabilis at walang palya na internet connection.

 

“While the telecommunications industry has continued to flourish in the country, internet connection and reliability of service remains a persistent problem, along with exorbitant costs paid by consumers for internet service,” pahayag ni Rep. Duterte.
